This year, Century Middle school students are able to participate in boys and girls cross country, girls volleyball, and boys and girls basketball.
The timing of each sport will be a little different this year with the addition of girls volleyball. This will be the first time volleyball is offered at Century.
Century Middle School dean and athletic director, Justin Goodman said, “Girls volleyball will start in January, and go until March”.
There will not be a 6th grade basketball team this year. However, there will be intramural (non-competitive) basketball available for interested sixth graders.
There is a cost to join middle school sports. Each sport has a $50 fee to cover expenses and uniforms. If your family has been approved for free/reduced lunch, then your fee is waived.
Students, families, and staff are excited for school sports this year.
