7th and 8th grade girls’ basketball has officially started! Practices began the week of October 23rd and the team is getting ready for their first game on Thursday, November 9th.

7th and 8th grade girls basketball teams are playing on Thursday against Rocky Top.The 7th grade team is going to

“I feel excited for our first game. It’s always nice to start at home. I know it is against a tough opponent, but I’m optimistic about how it will go,” states Mr. Sack, 7th grade basketball coach.

New this year, admission will be charged for spectators wishing to watch the games. Kids five and older are $2, adults are $3, and children under five are free.

Next week on Thursday November 16, 2023, 7th and 8th grade students are going to compete against Shadow Ridge. The games both start at 5:45.

“My thoughts are that we are going to have a great time and put our best effort into it. This season is about growth and Thursday is our first chance to show a crowd what we can do.”
