Since 1984, Julian T. Cordova has been running a small franchize called Chubbies. After taking over the family business from his grandma, he has expanded this business into three separate locations across Denver and Thornton. Over time, Chubby’s Mexican restaurant has become a local gem.
Chubby’s offers a large variety of Mexican cuisine, from green chili and fries, to chile rellenos.
Century teacher, Mrs Ashley says that “My favorite thing about Chubby’s is their green chili. It’s delicious and it’s super spicy.”
Additionally 8th grade student Stephanie Vargas says that her favorite food is the “Smothered bean and cheese burrito.”
On Google Chubby’s Mexican restaurant has received a 3.8 out of 4 stars and has many positive reviews. My personal favorite thing to get at this restaurant is smothered fries with steak and cheese.
Overall, Chubby’s Mexican restaurant is a wonderful establishment, and a great place to take friends and family for a nice hot meal.
