School buses mostly come on time which is something good to know so you don’t have to get prepared and wait outside for 10 minutes. Most school buses are Eco-Friendly like here in Century. But sometimes school buses can break down and you won’t even know about it and you’ll be late. If school buses pick up and drop off students individually, they will come to school or get back home late more often because some students will get picked up late and the bus will have to wait for them. For example, if 2 or more students come late on the same day, you’ll probably be late to school so this leads to the question…
Should school buses pick up students individually?
Although it will be comfortable for the bus to come to your doorstep, think about it, will your neighbors be comfortable with the loud engine? Will they want the school bus in their neighborhood every morning? Probably not. I think school buses shouldn’t pick up individually because I like waking up early and walking to the bus stop which is approximately 10 minutes walking, even though it’s a pain in the neck in the blazing sun in the afternoons but in the winter it is chilly so there’s not much to complain about if you have a jacket or something to keep you warm.
