Century Middle School Cross Country is finishing up an exciting season of races with students eager to lace up their running shoes, while the coaches are focusing on team work and personal growth. The cross country events not only promote physical fitness but also teach important life skills like perseverance and goal setting. Century cross country students have been working hard in practice each week.

The last meet was Monday, October 2nd and was a reschedule from September 14th due to inclement weather. The Century girls and boys teams both took 6th place out of 12 teams that were competing. The top 5 Century boys at the October 2nd meet were: Sawyer M, Blayne L, Jeahlyn J, Johnny M, and Jacoby V. The top 5 Century girls from Monday were Arayah M, Addie W, Josie W, Jordyn M, and Clara B. You can find full individual and team race results at Colorado Track XC.

The next cross country meet is the district championship on October 12th at Northwest Open Space. Boys will meet at 12pm and girls will meet at 12:30pm
