The Century Middle School girls’ volleyball regular season just wrapped up on February 10th, 2025. The six week season for 7th and 8th grade girls’ volleyball began in January with six teams from Century playing other middle schools in the Adams 12 school district.

”My favorite part of the volleyball season was how all the girls were all celebrating and having a fun time,” said 7th grade B-team player Mila Strother.
The 7th grade A team’s record is 2-2, which resulted in the team being seeded third for the district championship.
“My favorite part was spending a lot of time with my friends and getting to know new people,” said 7th grade A-team player Gisele Oropeza.
The 8th grade B2 team had a record of 3 wins and 1 loss. The 8th grade B1 team had only one win, and 3 losses.
“I liked learning new skills and being able to play with my friends,” said 8th grade B-team player Lucy Madera.
The 8th grade A team had a record of 3 wins and 1 loss, and is seeded second for the district championship.
“If we believe in ourselves we can do anything,” said 8th Grader A-team player Kesleigh Joule.
