Coming off a 7-4 win against the New York Islanders on October 4th, the Avs lost to the Pittsburgh Penguins on Thursday, 4-0. The Avalanche record is six wins and 1 loss, and are on track to a winning season and hopefully another Stanley Cup win.
As quoted in the Colorado Avalanche official website, when center Ryan Johansen was asked what he noticed about the team, “I think it’s just the daily habits I noticed. It’s the first day of arriving here that, um, you know, it looks like a team that just won the Stanley Cup and it looks like the team that’s hungry to win it again.”
The next game will be 11am on Sunday, October 29th against the Buffalo Sabres.
