The CU Buffs won against Arizona State by 3 points and it was a close game but they pulled it in for the win.
Javon Antonio scored a 9-yard touchdown catch early in the fourth quarter that gave the Buffs their first lead of the game. He also got the catch down the field to get the field goal that won the game.
Although CU played a good game, Deion Sanders wasn’t happy with the team. Poor blocking and a 94-yard touchdown drive from Arizona State led to the game being tied in the final minute. After the game he said “I apologize for my anger today, but I don’t expect mediocrity…sick of it.”
