During the week of December 18th, 2023, Century students will be able to participate in the annual holiday spirit week, each day consisting of fun dress up prompts.
Many students enjoy the school tradition, as it gets them ready for the upcoming winter break.
“I think that spirit week is a good idea because it helps people get into the holiday spirit and get excited to celebrate,” says seventh grader Andrew Luke. “The traditions day is a good idea because of how many different traditions there are for the holidays. I am excited to see how people dress like presents.”
Monday, December 18th is holiday flannel day. Keep warm and dress in your coziest holiday flannel!
Tuesday, December 19th is holiday character day. Dress as your favorite winter/holiday character. Those characters can be snow people, reindeers, elves, and much more.
Wednesday, December 20th, is holiday cheer and family tradition day. There are at least 29 holidays celebrated across the world from November to mid-January. What holiday do you celebrate and what family traditions do you have? Dress to represent your family traditions, cultural background, or your favorite holiday color.
Thursday, December 21, is the last day of spirit week and it’s dress like a present day. All of you are a gift to your teachers; from your laughter, silliness, and fun loving spirit. So, Thursday, dress like the unique gifts you are by dressing like a present.
