Have you seen the movie KPop Demon Hunters? Kpop demon hunters is about a fictional K-pop girl group called HUNTR/X that must save the world from demons by using their music and songs. The movie came out in 2025 on Netflix with a runtime of 96 minutes.
“The music is very catchy, the animation in the film is very good and my daughter and I bonded,” said seventh grade science teacher Mr. Meade.
The KPop Demon Hunter soundtrack includes previously released songs from Twice and Jokers. The rest of the soundtrack consists of original songs written for the movie and performed by the fictional groups HUNTR/X and Saja Boys.
“If I had to choose a favorite song, I would say Takedown,” said seventh grade student Aubrielle Wood.
Takedown is the first track on the KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack and is performed by the group Twice, a real girl group from South Korea. Artists Ejae, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami provide the singing voices for the movie’s main characters: Rumi, Mira, and Zoey.
“The songs are my favorite part of the movie because I love kpop and the songs are catchy,” said sixth grader Kendra Hernandez Milan.
Despite the movie’s popularity, not everyone is a fan of KPop Demon Hunters.
“I don't like Kpop demon hunters personally because it's just weird and not my kind of movie to watch,” said seventh grader Tatum Helie.
