It’s the start of a new school year, and many students have high hopes for what they want to accomplish this year.
For sixth graders, it’s a big adjustment to be in middle school for the first time. For 8th graders, it’s the last year before they embark on their high school journey.
“I think it’s a new chapter to my life and I’m moving on to something bigger next year and I think it’s just going to be exciting to see where I go,” says eighth grader Jade Thomas.
One thing a lot of students are excited for is signing up for a middle school sport.
“I really like volleyball and I’ve never played on the team or a school team before,” explains 7th grader Madelynn Vann.
New middle schoolers will have to get used to the middle school environment and will be experiencing new and exciting events such as new clubs.
“Adapting to the middle school way and like being in all the clubs.” – states Owen Wagner in 7th grade
