On April 23rd, Kelly Worthman came to Century Middle school to interview Anna Beers. While Kelly Worthman was at Century Middle school, she talked to the Publications class about journalism.
Ruby Helie said, “My favorite part was understanding her job more and I didn’t understand the hard work she does for her job.”
Kelly is a reporter for CBS, and she also anchors the weekend news. A cameraman, Tim, also came to film Anna during her interview.
Quincy Nolan said, “My favorite part of talking with Kelly was I got to learn a lot of stuff about how a professional journalist works and what they do.”
Anna was being interviewed about her award winning 2025 Future Fest design. She won a hundred dollars and her design was printed on 500 shirts that were given away during Future Fest.
Anna Beers said, “My favorite part was getting to talk to somebody who was a professional and learn more about what they do behind the scenes.”
